There was a serious accident with a bus and a tractor-trailer on Carr. Sanchez has traffic backed up. Both Carr. Sanchez and Nov 6 Autopista is affected by heavy traffic that is backed up.

The accident happened this morning at 8 am when the tractor-trailer loaded with cement rear-ended a bus that pushed it into a ravine after which the tractor-trailer landed on top of the bus.

The rescue folks have their hands full trying to get rubberneckers out of the way so they can work on rescuing the victim.

It's a big mess at the moment.

In the US I have seen huge screens that the rescue people put up to screen off the site of an accident. I don't know why they don't have these in DR, and surely they should have the police there to shoo people away. What is the fascination with seeing corpses extracted from a crash?

That truck was coming so fast, obviously the driver didn't bother or care to see that the bus was barely moving...SMH. Horrible...

One can't help but thinking that everything is wrong on those videos.......

Traffic slows down, nobody puts their warning lights on ✔️

Guagua stops for passengers half on the road, half off, on a 4 lane road, no less ✔️

Lorry comes barreling down, not realizing the traffic backed up, probably overloaded and with brakes from the past century ✔️
