She's texting and therefore shortening words. So the best thing he can do is have her clarify if he's interested.

After a few more weeks of texting she may move him from novio status to esposo status regardless :classic:
Contago - are you still at the "Te queiro" stage? Or has she moved you to the "Te amo" stage already? :classic:

ok one last one... its way over the top..

creo que nos vamos a llevar muy bien por que te quiero como esposo

" one day you are going to make a good husband"
" Or I think we would carry well as my husband"

Tango, step back from the phone and and take several deep breaths. I smell Pesidencia Permanente here. I'm available for one-on-one counselling, as I've been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Only took me five years of wasted time and $$ before her jig was up. I'm serious about the counselling, tho.

Contango,

After reading several texts and your inability to decipher them, I had a question. Is it possible on your end, or hers, to have a friend who speaks both English and Spanish? It's like a slow

conversation where sometimes there's confusion which leads to misunderstandings.

Get her on the line and conduct a more detailed conversation (with translator of course) to give her the benefit to express herself and you reciprocate. You did state that you've feelings for her but you wanted to take your time and move accordingly.

If you're into sports, watch it in Spanish to practice speed. Also, try to read newspapers in Spanish with a translator for comparison. Also, ask her often to speak slower and listen attentively. :D

It won't be long now until Contango gets a text and realizes he's hooked

You may be better off paying for her to go to English school if you truly feel she is the one and not using you for anything...Trust me, I've been used and abused...I'm too much of a nice guy, but that there has given me steel veins, it hurts bro when its one sided, so be careful! I do have a special someone now, She has helped me more than I have done anything for her, so I feel very good about this so far..6 Months now, she calls me her husband to her friends & family..and man!! does she have family!!..Most Dominicans do, and its great!!! They really show us Gringo's up on what its like to be a family although I am Italian and feel the same, old tradition stuff..And boy can she cook!!!! God, I love her food!!!

Anyways, there are a lot of translators on the Web as another poster suggested Google Translator..I also use that and another called SDL Free Translation .com Both work great!!

Best wishes

Anthony

You are correct again, its excruciating.. Way back if you remember when i had the other Chica, "meet me at La bomba" .
In that thread you posted without understanding the language you will never be able to "make up after a fight"..
Now this wasn't a fight but it was something very bizarre, things got twisted..

I'm back, I have been doing good today, she only sent me 2 messages, and then this last one..
It sounds a bit desperate? As usual could you help me with the correct translation.
Yes I know the message is personal in nature, but I am more interested in getting my translations correct..

ya quiero verte pero pero se esperar y te boy guardando muchos besos

My translation, "already I want to see you, but I expect you, and I'm saving kisses"?

mi amor de esto hay un poco que hablar pero a ti amo y solo tu y yo viviremos te quiero en mi vida para siempre.

"my love there is little to talk about, but i love you and only you, and i want you in my life forever" Am I correct?

I hope she has a rich father and I am hers!!

You got that one.

But if there is so little to talk about - find something to talk about - at least have her send you pictures on Viber (or one of the other free apps)... ;):classic:
