So, does Amazon and other carriers like DHL and FDX have a place for you to enter these Plus codes?

Amazon is shipping directly to the Dominican Republic?
You could add a plus code to delivery instructions in Amazon, but then then would the delivery driver use it in the DR?
I've added my home location on my Google Maps, but still don't get that code. There is some other place on Maps very close to me, and I do see the code for that one. Not sure exactly how that works. I do know how to send my location in WhatsApp... maybe the delivery person would call me that way
I was assured twice, once yesterday and the day before that this is 100% true. Both on live chats and with a direct call to an Amazon respresentative I was told this is absolutely true for me in the DR to get direct shipments from Amazon using Amazon Global Delivery with no ultimate shipping charges at all ever for any item.
No doubt about it and with either free shipping to start with or I would be reimbursed for any and all shipping charges after delivery because I am a Prime member.
My wife remains skeptical

Now that being said,like everything else in the universe the question is....Will it work?It exist. You AND sky are correct. But spaceships still blow up. Lights still go out. And packages around the world still don't get delivered.
Thanks for sharing all this info! I have no doubts that such delivery does exist here. If I lived in a remote area, maybe I would be more skeptical in that case. If perchance you engage in another discussion with Amazon, perhaps ask what company/courier does the deliveries?
Amazon gave me a free Prime trial when I placed my last order. If that means I don't have to hit that $49 minimum, maybe I'll look to see if I can find something inexpensive and give the local delivery a try.

It's not an Amazon truck that delivers my packages to Domex in Miami....just saying!
I think most likely, just like Tom0910 in Colombia said, Amazon will partner with one of the couriers here to deliver. Most have WhatsApp so you'll easily be able to send them your location if needed.
